A walk around the site reveals the layers of its past as shown by its trees. Today, a very significant population of veteran trees still remains with over 30 ancient and veteran trees, many old pollards, standing within the private grounds.
Remarks & Tree condition:
Giant tree with a huge bolling. Its girth does not reflect this. This tree is not a nomination, but has been recorded as part of the Epping Forest Veteran tree survey - Contact us if you are interested in getting involved.
