Reason for nomination:

• This tree stands on the western edge of Three and a Half Acres on the Roding Valley Meadows Local Nature Reserve. The reserve is owned by EFDC and the Grange Farm Trust and is managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust. Open access year round.

Remarks & Tree condition:

• Litte deadwood in canopy, evidence of crown reduction work, cavities and holes, flaking and peeling bark, aesthetic position by field gate.
