Reason for nomination:

• "The trees we planted along Anchor Lane have really improved the apperance of a lovely country lane and most have survived." Mike Brill - Abbess and White Roding Conservation Society.

Remarks & Tree condition:

• This mixed hedge (containing hawthorn, field maple, hazel, dogwood, oak and ash) was planted by the society over a number of years in the early 1990s to gap up an existing old hedgerow along Anchor Lane, Abbess Roding.
