Reason for nomination:
This magnificant huge oak stands in the rear garden of a property on Norton Lane. At the date of recording it is the second largest oak recorded.
Remarks & Tree condition:
This tree is incredibly heathly with little sign of decay. It has a full wide growing crown and is still growing very vigourously. For these reasons we believe the tree to be around 300 years old.
